Twenedurase Presbyterian Church, Ghana
St John’s Northwood concern for the world church is expressed in its partnership with Twenedurase Presbyterian Church, Ghana.
Initial contacts were enjoyed through the mission work of Beryl Haggis and the mutual membership of the late Dr Jonathan and Mrs Selina Frimpong-Ansah. Those bonds have now been strengthened by a formal covenant partnership.

The two churches share information about their respective programmes and church life and individual members communicate with each other. The churches pray for each other and engage in activities to support the two congregations.
St John’s has recently helped Twenedurase by a donation of £1,500 to aid their new building programme. Support has also been given to Twenedurase school through the donation of the contents of the school library of Frithwood Primary School in Northwood. . The cost of shipping was met by St John’s Charities Group.
Exchange visits of representatives are another feature of the covenant. In July 2005 we were happy to welcome Revd Joseph Adu Mensah and Mr Benjamin Yaw Frempong from Twenedurase.
St John’s also supports Twenedurase Kuro MMA, the group of Twenedurase citizens in the UK.
